Malaysian state telecoms company beats SIAC claim

Providence Law Asia LLC, along with co-counsel Zul Rafique & Partners, successfully defended Telekom Malaysia in a SIAC claim for more than US$34 million in damages brought against it by a Singapore-registered IPTV services provider, Vodoke. The Tribunal dismissed the claims brought by Vodoke for alleged breach of a collaboration agreement and found Vodoke liable for actionable misrepresentation.
