Zhang Xin is a Counsel with the firm. He has represented domestic and foreign enterprises in a diverse spectrum of legal matters encompassing international commercial arbitration and commercial litigation.
Zhang Xin previously worked at a Chinese Red Circle law firm in Shanghai, providing investment and financing related services to various private equity funds, commercial banks, insurance companies, public listed companies and private enterprises.
Zhang Xin graduated from Dalian Maritime University with an LL.B. in 2014 and from the University of Texas at Austin with an LL.M. in 2015. In 2023, Zhang Xin obtained a Juris Doctor (with Distinction) from the National University of Singapore.
Zhang Xin is fluent in English and Mandarin.

Professional Experience
- Acting for a Chinese commodity trading company in a breach of contract dispute before the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC).
- Acting for a Chinese commodity trading company in a breach of contract dispute before the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC).
- Acting for a BVI investment company in respect of claims pertaining to fraudulent misrepresentation, unlawful means conspiracy and breach of contract with regards to a financing agreement secured by stocks in a Canadian listed company, with a claim sum of more than CAD 69 million.
- Acting for the Law Society of Singapore in the prosecution of two lawyers on separate charges of professional misconduct, including deceitful behaviour, omission of material information to the Court, untruthful and inaccurate communications to the opposing party, and failure to exercise proper supervision.
