Appointment of Abraham Vergis as a Senior Counsel

Providence Law Asia is delighted to announce that our Managing Director, Abraham Vergis, has been appointed Senior Counsel. The announcement was made by the Chief Justice Sundaresh Menon at the Opening of the Legal Year 2021 on 11 January 2021. The appointment of Senior Counsel is accorded to those with outstanding ability as advocates, extensive knowledge of the law and the highest professional standing. The Senior Counsel Selection Committee comprised the Honourable the Chief Justice, the Honourable Attorney-General and the Honourable Judges of Appeal. Abraham founded Providence Law Asia in 2012 as an independent dispute resolution boutique. His counsel practice centres around corporate & commercial litigation, international arbitrations, insolvency and restructuring, civil fraud and asset recovery, and criminal defence.
