Criminal Legal Aid Scheme Training Programme 2023

Our Managing Director, Abraham Vergis, S.C. will speak at the Pro Bono SG Criminal Legal Aid Scheme Training Programme 2023 at a session titled “Raising the Bar – Effective Advocacy Before the Courts” on 21 September 2023 (Thursday) from 5.00pm to 6.30pm.

Abraham will be speaking alongside Sanjiv Rajan, with Sadhana Rai moderating the session. The speakers will share their suggestions on how best to prepare for oral hearings before the Courts. Among other matters, they will discuss the importance of oral arguments, the order and progression of arguments, questions from the bench, and proper courtroom etiquette.
