Providence Law Asia welcomes Daniel Tan as Director, and Head of Restructuring & Insolvency

We are delighted to announce that Daniel Tan has joined Providence Law Asia LLC from 2 January 2025 to head the Restructuring & Insolvency practice. A former partner at  Shook Lin & Bok Singapore, Daniel is a highly regarded expert in banking and financial disputes, with a particular focus on cross-border restructuring and insolvency. His vast experience advising corporate debtors, institutional creditors, and turnaround professionals in special situations will significantly strengthen the firm’s capabilities in these key areas.

In addition to his expertise in restructuring and insolvency, Daniel’s practice covers corporate disputes, fraud, asset recovery, and investigations. He has earned widespread recognition in prestigious legal directories, including Who’s Who Legal, Chambers Asia-Pacific, The Legal 500, IFLR1000, and Asialaw. Most recently, he was recognized as a “Next Generation Partner” for Restructuring and Insolvency (2022-2024) and Dispute Resolution (2024) in The Legal 500, and as a “Rising Star Partner” in IFLR1000 (2023).
